This Post is Definitely Not About Chickens!

Hi, blogville friends ~ I realize it's been ages, but I have a very good reason for my absence this time!

I'm excited to let you know...

...that I'm about two months pregnant with baby number three!

It has been a surprise for me in some ways, though deep down I knew this baby was coming.  Emma even knew, very mysteriously, for a month before I took the test, and was even telling all her friends at preschool, and her teacher, all about it!  (I had not mentioned a thing to her.)

She kept insisting that she was going to have a baby sister, and so I'm wondering if perhaps she isn't right about the gender as well as the pregnancy itself!  She's a very perceptive person, I'm learning.  So, we'll see.  :)

I have been very, very tired, and dealing with the morning sickness that lasts all day long.  But aside from that, things are going well and we are all happy and looking forward to meeting this new little person.  It's pretty exciting!

I may be away from this space for a while until I'm feeling better, but I didn't want to wait any longer to share the news. :)

Hope everyone is having a wonderful summer!!

~ Lots of love from me ~
